This post is a little late… not that anyone would had even noticed .

This is what I got my mom for Mother’s Day this year; Orchid scented stuff from Bath & Body Works (since she loves Orchid’s), a Nora Roberts book set and I also included a copy of The Clearing since it’s my favorite book of the year (so far).

All wrapped up and ready for her to find!

I got a new webcam (thanks to my buddy JD who gave me a $100 Visa gift card and told me to splurge it… so splurge it, I did!) and it’s amaaaazing. I love it! And it was cool cause it was $80 at Fry’s Electronics but $50 on Amazon. Oh the reasons why I love Amazon are endless!

As you can see, the focus on this is amazing! It’s like having macro on your webcam!

I’m obsessed with eating Panera Bread (BBQ Chicken Salad with diced egg and Wild Rice soup) and Chipotle. I blame my husband for the Chipotle obsession. But I can’t eat it unless he soaks my rice with lemon juice, which he usually gladly does .

Another obsession? Bokchoy Boys! They’re $.50 vending machine Ninja toys. Every time I eat at Fry’s Electronics (their Cafe has the BEST Club sandwich I’ve ever had) I have to get one… or three of these! Drives my husband crazy haha! But look at him, isn’t he cute? I’m missing 4 out of the 12 right now! Oh and this picture was taken on my new webcam .

Finally got to dine at Olive Garden after a very very long break. I’m not much of a drinker (anymore) and I definitely don’t like wine or beer. But I love Moscato! Maybe because it doesn’t really taste like wine…

I’ve stopped buying makeup and started buying books. Goin back to my roots! But seriously, this is getting dangerous lol. I’ve been going on crazy book buying spree’s.

This isn’t even half of the books I’ve bought in the last two months! I have books everywhere! I just finished Perfect Chemistry this morning and I have to say, it’s right up there with The Clearing. Amazing story, suspenseful, real, raw and intoxicating! I’m excited to read The Faerie Path but I can’t start any more series! I didn’t know Perfect Chemistry was a series, grrr. I have this thing where if I’m reading a series, it takes priority. So I’m hoping to finish the Wings series (or what’s out of it so far) so I don’t feel this lingering obligation lol. Also excited to read Merlin’s Harp because it has a super pretty cover and Graceling because I hear so many good things about it… but again, it’s part of a series!

Oh, more books! I know what I said about series earlier but I’m kinda holding off on reading Fragile Eternity because I have a soft spot for Seth and Ash and I’m not really ready for their story to be over just yet… but I am curious to know about what happens in Radiant  Shadows because it’s been talked about lately. The thing about the Wicked Lovely series is you get those first 80-100 pages where you’re kinda confused because of all the back story and details (not that its a bad thing, it actually helps you understand the rest of the book so much more easier) and I always feel so hazy in that area lol. My good friend suggested Lock & Key to me and I gave in and got it, its over 400 pages. Goodness lol! I’m kinda reading The Iron King, it’s kinda creeping me out a bit, just because someones stalking her and I mean its a bit obvious who and why but it’s just… kinda creepy you know?!

I decided… I’m going to give up on Eyes Like Stars. At least for right now. I don’t know, it’s just really confusing to me and I find myself saying “uhhh what?” every other page. It has fantastic reviews everywhere and I feel like there’s something wrong with me because I’m just not getting it lol. Ugh, I don’t know!

My typical school lunch except I’m missing my Turkey Melt lol. I’m so glad this class is almost over, the teacher irritates me. He talks to me like I’m stupid and every time he’s saying something about what you’re not suppose to be doing, he stares at me. Not only that, but every freakin comment he gives me back on my homework makes me sound like I lack the ability to write a complete sentence. I don’t know what the hell his problem is but even my husband notices that he pays more attention to me than anyone else, and not in a nice way either. Like yesterday, in class. He was going through a power point and I was commenting to Martin on the things on the slide and he was talking to another one of my classmates about a personal matter so I quietly commented to Martin about the slide and he turns to us and goes “can you guys stop talking to each other over there? You’re making it very hard for me to not separate you two” and it was just irritating. Everyone else whispers to each other and we get in trouble?! And separate us?! What are we, in high school? I’m paying for this class, don’t talk to me like I’m a fuckin child. UGH. Can’t WAIT for this stupid class to be OVER!

I thought this was kinda cool, they had Mario on all the monitors on the back wall in Fry’s. The little girl kept looking back at me cause I was wearing my raccoon Mario hoodie that day lol! As soon as they left, I jumped on the controllers! I  <3 that game !

So, what happened this week? Not much… I realized I haven’t been taking as many pictures as I use to… but then again, nothing worth taking pictures of has happened.

And I still need to post about my birthday, don’t I? Eep.

So class on Monday was the usual… we were on “team gabe” but he turned it into “team hazel” cause I kept getting all the answers right. “you’re getting everything right and you don’t talk!” I do too talk. Just, not that much!

I finally got around to cleaning the area in front of my TV (OMG I can see the FLOOR there now… and my Wii! Oh how long it’s been, I thought I had lost you forever Wii!) and I came across this. No journal of mine has ever been more private than this one. It was my high school notebook that I brought around with me everywhere. I was reading though it and it had days I was missing in my blogs, days I wondered what happened. Days I didn’t want to read about. Days of abuse, of confusion, of wanting to end it all. Conversations with people, with someone I miss. A conversation that made me miss that person even more and realizing he’s never coming back. That friendship, that bond, is gone. It’s depressing, but it’s also life.

And pages with Martin’s familiar hand writing. The majority of the time when I’d be writing in this back in high school, in class, I would be sitting in front of Martin in Journalism with my head phones on and he’d bug me. It’s like, as soon as I pulled out the journal, he’d start bugging me. Never failed! Which is funny because now that I’m married to him, every time I pull out a journal or a book, he does the same thing lol!

I remember him underlining the words but I don’t remember writing this, or why I wrote this. It’s just funny to see us as we were when we just met, when we were just friends and to look at us now. He was always the one I joked around with about killing myself. We were both those students who didn’t really care about anything. I think that’s why we ended up being friends. But he definitely made my days more tolerable at school…. even if he was trying to stab me with my own pens… or flinging staples into my soup… or stapling my orange… wait was that my orange? Or letting me draw rainbows and flowers on his arm and “hazel is so much cooler than me” and wear it around school lol.

Oh I also got a wicked gash on my index finger (on the bendy part too!) from moving books around. Who knew books could be lethal?!

I finally got to go to Target… ALONE. I haven’t gone anywhere alone since Martin came home. So yes, that was indeed refreshing. Oh how I missed that freedom! I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and Target.

I got this little guy from Bed Bath & Beyond! I love Sock Monkey! I have slippers of him that I’ve had for years. They’re my favorite slippers, ever! Now I have him in plushie! Yay!

Also finally got my hands on this!! Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me is one of my all time favorite movies! I hated Goldmember though. My Target finally got fixed up, they added the grocery which is HUGE but they didn’t have ELF (Eyes Lips Face) stuff there yet. Booo.

My damage. I got my birthday Sephora shipment too! So excited! I finally replaced my Lash Blast, I didn’t get what the big deal about this mascara was until yesterday. Got the new Revlon lipstick everyone’s been raving about, but the color I got Soft Nude doesn’t show up great on my skin tone. It’s hard for me to find a lipstick that works good with me. Got a new foundation, I can never tell if I matched myself right… annnnd… I finally got my Cake Beauty Lip Butter in Lemon Chiffon!!

I am the most excited about this!! I am a sucker for anything Lemon Chiffon. Or anything chiffon to be honest! I’ve been itching to pull out my culinary school notebook and make an almond chiffon cake… but in my house, that’s unlikely! Even though I went to culinary school, my dad still thinks my baking will burn the house down. No faith!

Anyway, this lip butter smells exactly like Lemon Chiffon. I may have to get a back up… or 5! Hehe .

Found these at Target… they’re…. weird. Good, but weird. I also picked up some new Skittles that I didn’t take a picture of cause they’re in my car (oops). Those were… weird too. Would it be weird to do food reviews here? Hm, it’s my blog, I can what I want!

When I had planned on writing this blog (yesterday) I was going to say I started reading this book today. Well, now that I wrote it today instead of yesterday… I finished this book today.

It was a really really cute read. The ending made me feel both relieved but… what the hell at the same time. The story changed obviously but it wasn’t the ending I was expecting. And it’s crazy to think of the ending and the entire book all together. It was well written. And it kinda had that idea that Martin told me to write about but there’s no way I could consturct a book like that, especially if it had to do with my life because I wouldn’t know the outcome. I finished this book wanting to know more, what else happened? I love when a book does that but at the same time… it’s frustrating lol.

Review on this soon! I need to sort my feelings and thoughts towards it first lol.’

It feels like one of those days I’d be sleeping in my stuffy Journalism class. I guess listening to Linkin Park kinda helped that feeling . Never thought I’d be married to Martin. Crazy. I’d always tell him “I’ll feel sorry for your future wife” when he’d tell me the most off the wall things… and you know… I do feel sorry for his wife LOL!

Damn when was the last time I had a “convo of the…”?

Monday was my 25th birthday! I didn’t have much of anything planned out, have lunch at Cheesecake Factory with husband, shop a bit at Sephora, pay Sprint bill and go to class. Yep, that was pretty much it… I’ll post an entire blog about how my birthday went soon. I know I should had posted it before this blog, but again… the week was a blur. So quick recap instead!

Had the Factory Chopped Salad, Fried Mac N’ Cheese & Strawberry Lemonade. Realized that after eating non junk food for so long and then going to this… destroyed my stomach. Seriously, I felt so sick after eating this. Even the salad made me feel unhealthy! It might be because I added more dressing….

How cute is their free birthday ice cream thing though?! Since I had this, I’ve been craving hot fudge non stop. This was delicious! I wanted to keep the cup LOL.

The other married couple in our class surprised me with balloons, a card and really pretty and colorful flowers! It was laid out all nice at my seat. It seriously made my day! Thank you Candace and Victor ! And of course, Kai’s cupcakes I asked for!

My birthday gifts! Books from my husband and mother in law, a cute Hello Kitty musical jewelry chest from my mom and my Sephora gift & purchase!

Confession: Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr has been on my To-Be-Read list for the last few years. Then my mom lost my copy. So I had to buy a new one. I started reading it this week (and I’ll do a review soon) and I finished it today. It was, in the end, a really fantastic read. Why did it take me so long to get around to reading it?! Now I must get all the others in the series!

Every 3 months I get my hair re-highlighted. I have an obsession with coloring my hair. When I was in high school, my hair would literally have to be 3 different colors or I wouldn’t be happy. Of course when I worked at Six Flags for 2 seasons I dyed my hair black since they’re anal about outstanding hair colors and the day after I quit, I dyed it blond lol. Decided to go for a new color now that I’m 25 and I went with this. It was suppose to be more purple, but I actually really really like the way it turned out!

Husband and I spotted a moth on the way to the car the other day…. this thing was HUGE. Just wanted to mention it .

I finally got to try this!! And I must say, it was delicious. So. Very. Delicious!

My town had a little carnival this weekend, we went to check it out. It was one of those $2 admission fee small carnivals. We didn’t ride any rides or really do anything but walk around once, but it was a nice day!

My husband is against me playing this game. A few years ago, he won me a goldfish at the state fair and I neglected to take care of it so it kinda… died. So since then he refuses to let me play this again.

Well, I got him to let me play haha! I missed all six of my balls (4 of them shot back at me, I’m horrible at this game) and I gave my last ball to my husband (we have this thing with lasts) and… he made it in. A blue bowl. Which means… he won me a goldfish LOL! I named him Fishie and he now lives at my in-laws house in their fish tank .

Spent the afternoon yesterday with my mother in law and husband. We went to this story that I’m hesitant to mention in case my mother is reading this . But I bought gem stones which I didn’t take a picture of. I sat there and touched every single stone they had to find the right one. Man, it took hours! Remembered my love for gem stones when I was younger (most of the ones I’m looking for… I had when I was a child, ironic, right?) and how I use to pretend that stones talked to me. Oh, if only I had known then…

So yes, spent the afternoon with them and after dropping my mother in law back home we went to Baskin Robbins so I could get Icing On The Cake which is my new BR favorite! Husband and I spent the rest of the night watching Food Network (Chef vs City) and eating Baskin Robbins ice cream. He had Rocky Road .

This week wasn’t that interesting and I don’t remember most of it lol! But I am enjoying this warmer weather! Here’s to a hopefully, more interesting week!

Last Sunday husband came over and we sat around and watched movies. At Chicken Noodle Soup and relaxed.

Also tore open the Williams-Sonoma Easter sour bunny gummies! I love these! I tried them last year and fell in love! I only like the lime ones though. They’re so sour and chewy and OMG. Delicious!

I also finally finished Stealing Heaven by Elizabeth Scott. This was such a good read! I still have to do a review on this. I just hate how when I read a good book, I postpone reviews because I never think it’ll do it enough justice. But this was a really good book and I’m now a huge fan of Elizabeth Scott’s writing!

Monday was our last day of our first class at University of Phoenix. I don’t have a picture of the spread of food we had, and man we had a lot but I do have a picture of our plates on my twitpic. Featuring Kai’s delicious Cookies & Cream cupcakes. They were delicious! They were moist, the frosting was amazing and there was half an oreo under the cupcake! Impressive! Sad to be leaving GEN/195, I liked our teacher and the class was pretty laid back. Now tomorrow we’re starting a new class!

Tuesday I wasn’t feeling too well, I thought it was the birth control I started taking again to regulate my period, but whatever it was… I just wasn’t feeling well at all. We went to the bank and ran some errands before class. Husband took me to The Grocery Outlet since I’ve never been there and he swore they sold MRE’s there. Well they didn’t, but I did discover these…

OMGOMGOMG! I haven’t seen these since the 90′s! Viennetta ice cream cake was my favorite FAVORITE ice cream cake when I was a child. Seriously, I LOVED this stuff! I can’t believe I forgot about it! I hate how they don’t sell these in grocery stores anymore! I was seriously freaking out. Everything in The Grocery Outlet was amazingly cheap. Stuff I normally pay $5 for! They don’t have a super large selection but they do have a lot of really good stuff there including this! OMG. When I get better! So going back to get a bunch of these!!

After class, we headed over to Borders so I could buy The Unwritten Rule by Elizabeth Scott.

She’s holding a contest/giveaway on her blog. If you send her a picture of your purchased book and receipt, she sends you an additional novel for free! I just got my additional novel in yesterday, haven’t opened it yet so I don’t know what it is!

Wednesday I stayed home and ate my “I’m sick” comfort food: KFC Chicken Pot Pie. Fevers, aches, headaches, not fun.

Thursday Skipped class to go to the hospital and thank goodness it isn’t Strep Throat! The day was filled with naps, soup and apple juice.

Sorry, not much else is coming to mind about that day….

Friday was spent at home relaxing on my own and doing Follow Friday which I’m starting to think is a bad idea… I do all these Follow Friday‘s and I get all these “followers” but hardly anyone ever comments after that Friday. I want people to follow my blog because they actually like my blog, not because I was on some blog hop list!

Some new books. Thank goodness Amazon accepts paypal, it’s all I got right now! Whew. I’ve been itching for Wake for awhile now. I’m excited to read these! My husband just got my order in from Amazon for my birthday gift books, I don’t know how he’s going to wrap them… my OCD anxiety goes nuts every time I think about it. Gah! OCD seriously just makes my life SO much more worse. Drives me insane.

Saturday I was up early to catch Wicked at my mall. They were having a performance at 11AM, so I dragged myself out of bed only to find out that… they only sang two songs “Wizard & I” and “For Good” and they were two people I’ve never seen before, so I’m going to assume understudies? But they had amazing voices! I was disappointed it wasn’t longer and they didn’t perform any other songs… so we went to Panera after and had lunch then back home to go to Target so I could get husband some Rice Crackers and get me some Tylenol. I was singing and acting out “The Wizard & I” at Target cause I was just so deliriously sick at that point. Good thing my husband doesn’t get embarrassed by the things I do and good thing there wasn’t anyone really there at 1PM. Or maybe I was just too into my own little world… whatever! I got the Tylenol Cold with Cool Burst like I mentioned in my review.

Also, I finally finished my LUSH Snow Fairy body wash!

Thank goodness!! Towards the end, I really hated the smell of this thing! I think I’ll do a review on here later… if not check my beauty blog for a review there!

Sunday which is today, is spent catching up on blogs, doing laundry, trying to feel better before class tomorrow and hopefully doing some cleaning. I’m going to start reading The Unwritten Rule today, I’ve been putting it off because of my OCD. Ugh. Lame lame lame!

I couldn’t resist, I had to take a picture. They set up the display in the middle of the mall (and moved the Easter bunny to upstairs by JC Penny, awww lol) last weekend. There’s Glinda’s “bubble” dress as well as her “Popular” dress and Elphaba’s scene II dress. As well as her “One Short Day” dress. You know what woulda been awesome? Having Fiyero’s outfits up there as well. How come Fiyero gets no attention? He’s a main character too! Kinda. It’s okay Fiyero, I think you’re awesome!

I’m looking through my picture recap and I don’t know which day came before which (I prefer to be in order), it’s not like you guys would know the difference, so I’m gonna just put them in a random order. Sorry I had to say it “out loud” to warn myself lol!

I finally got to make my Bed Bath & Beyond run to get some stuff I needed. Ban is the only deodorant that doesn’t give me an allergic reaction. Have you ever had an allergic reaction to a deodorant before? It’s the most irritating thing ever. Surprisingly our Bed Bath & Beyond is the only place that carries the new scent (like the one above). They didn’t have my usual toothpaste so I grabbed that one, it burns. Seriously. Like something fierce. And remember how I was talking about my desire for the Jolly Rancher Gummies? They’re disgusting. I’m so sad.

Boston Market started these $5 meal deals and I’ve been addicted to them lately! OMG. Husband get’s this half chicken carver sandwich OMG, it’s so damn good! And so are their mashed potatoes and lemonade! Yum. My mouth is watering just thinking about it…!

I’ve also been obsessed with Popeyes Mississippi Mud Pie! My dad bought one for me last week and now I’m hooked. This is seriously the best thing I’ve ever eaten before. It just makes all the bad things fade away. I’m so serious. And did you know that Panera Bread’s lemonade had free refills?! I swear the last time I bought one (last year-ish) they told me there was no free refills! Did the person lie to me or did they recently change it? Either way, I’m excited. I like their lemonade, even if it does give me a stomach ache later… lol.

We usually do our homework at Panera cause usually it’s quiet. It hasn’t been quiet lately. It’s been packed. Does everyone have finals soon? I don’t understand why it’s so packed and loud. I swear there’s study groups but they just sit there and talk really loud for no reason! Shut up! People are doing homework! Husband doesn’t wanna do homework there anymore though, so we just rent out a study room at school. I mean it is much quieter but there’s no food there lol!

I also ran into my good friend Bernard that day. Aww, I miss you Bernard! If you’re reading this, which you’re probably not lol!

I went to Coco Swirl a few days ago because they released a new flavor and I was kinda craving the Moon Pie flavor but I found they removed both flavors but they had Red Velvet. Which was kinda… weird. It was good, but weird. Really creamy. I’ve been putting chocolate chips on my froyo a lot lately… I’m not a huge fan of chocolate but ever since I had that Mud Pie, I’ve had a new found love for chocolate… weird!

Usual Barns & Noble reading! Hex Hall and Fairest of All are both on my wish list. I got The Last Song when it was released awhile back and never read it. Now I’m trying to finish it before the movie comes out! I hate watching a movie without reading the book first. You know what annoys me? That they kick you out of the children’s section now! I’m usually at B&N at 9PM-ish. There aren’t any kids or parents around at that time, but they still kick us out. I actually prefer to go to Borders. They have more places to sit there!

I figured out last week that the dry/itchy/bumpy-ness on my hands is actually eczema. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so hard. It’s so frustrating and I was hoping it would be something that would just pass… but there’s no cure for eczema, at least I hear. And it’s just depressing that I’m going to have to live with itchy, dry hands forever . And the hive-like-bumps aren’t fun either… my sister in law suggested I try a Vaseline lotion, so I have been and it’s been working good so far. But who knows, my skin might grow immune to that too…

And if you’re curious, I’m wearing “Good Witch?” by China Glaze in the picture. It’s from the Wizard of Ooh Ahhz collection. I was going to do a post on it, but I haven’t yet. Maybe after this one. The picture was taken for my beauty blog for my NOTD (Nails Of The Day) and I noticed you could really see my eczema in the picture…

My messy room! I’ve been planning on cleaning this area since my husband left for basic training last year LOL! Yeah, so much for that idea! The bins were bought to organize all my stuff. I managed to put some of my DVD’s (that were stacked on top of my TV) away, I was afraid they’d all eventually fall over and I’d get reallyyy annoyed. Now I just have to work on everything else! It’s taking some time, my OCD can really hold me back from cleaning things like this… I did manage to clean some of my desk off and my closet yesterday though, so I’m happy about that!

The other day, husband wanted to go check out some parks in our area. We got new boxing pads so he wanted to find a place for us to practice kickboxing. It was pretty out and I wanted to try Pasta Pomodoro’s strawberry lemonade since I saw my sister in law’s picture. It tasted a lot more like limes, but it was really really good. If you like tart, then this is perfect! I also like the cute refill jug they give you!

I wish I had taken pictures of the park, but it was depressing. I hadn’t been back there since I was a kid, and while the main area of the park was pretty and clean, the ponds where we use to fish for crayfish were dirty and filled with that stuff that grows on top of water. And it got all creepy looking. It was really really sad, at least for me. There weren’t that many peacocks like I remember. We did play in the playground. I tried to hang upside down from the monkey bars like you do when you’re a kid, didn’t work out. I’m not as flexible as I use to be! Haha. Made me feel old… and very sad… lol. There were also a ton of gnats there! Ugh. I hate gnats! I ran into the car when we were walking back and shut the door. I found 3 dead gnats on my door! And one crawling on my hand! Gnats make me feel buggy!

They would be all over Six Flags during the summer. And I’d usually go on the last games pick up, so it would be at night when the park closes. Well not only do the gnats at the park come out at night… but so do the spiders. I didn’t know what to dodge more… the gnats or the super huge spiders. I’m arachnophobia so that job, while I loved it, was very difficult for me. Especially in the summer time. Oh man, the stories of that place… consider yourself lucky!

I was suppose to do my GEN/195 final yesterday, but I didn’t. It’s due on Monday. Crap. I can’t believe my first University of Phoenix class is almost over !

I’ve also been forcing myself to drink at least half a bottle of water (a bottle of 16oz) every night before bed. Like I’ve mentioned many times, I’m horrible with drinking water… I hate water, but I’ve felt a huge difference since I started drinking more water. I feel a lot better and I don’t get as many headaches. Whoohoo !

Let’s see how far back I can remember…

So last week, we had to print out chapter’s since University of Phoenix doesn’t have hard copy text books, a lot of our “chapter reading” is online and needs to be printed out (unless you’re okay with reading it as a PDF file, I personally don’t really care). The good thing is that they allow you to print out as many pages as you need to at the campus, for free! I go to two colleges, so we had to find time between lunch and before class to run to UoP and print out our chapter reading. The campus is small, but it’s nice. And comfy.

I spotted these at Target!! They put out all the Easter candy and decor! I love Easter. It has the best candy! Hehe! These are my favorite Easter chocolates! They only come out during Easter too, which sucks! I went crazy. But husband didn’t let me buy any. He’s getting a little strict with me not eating candy lately…. hmph.

Most days consist of this, entire afternoons in Panera Bread before kickboxing class doing homework. Husband was turning in our learning team homework while I finished my lunch. Aww, isn’t he just the sweetest? And I know, could my stuff be any more girly? Pink laptop, MAC Hello Kitty carrying bag… lol.

I was craving granola! And I need to add more yogurt and fruit into my diet. I don’t eat enough. I love Panera Bread’s granola. It’s so so… so delicious!! I just hate how fast the yogurt warms up and it get’s all watery… .

Speaking of, I was looking for healthy snacks. I know I need to eat a little more healthier and I tend to skip breakfast a lot, so I was looking for some nuts and trail mix snack packs to snack on in my room. I’m lazy and I hate making food, plus, snacking on nuts is good for you. So I found these!

The Cocoa Roast Almonds are okay… they don’t taste much like dark chocolate (lol, I don’t know what I was expecting but it’s just funny to think about… was I expecting dark chocolate covered almonds?! Haha) but it is better than eating plain almonds. Plus they’re 100 calorie packs!

The Tropical Blend trail mix is pretty good. It comes with banana’s, mangoes and pineapples. The mangoes were making my stomach hurt after awhile, but everything else was really good. Weird, considering I’m Filipino and dried mango is one of my favorites snacks… unless they’re “dried” differently?

A few new purchases over the last month or so… oh how I miss splurging! But that’s what got me into all this debt trouble in the first place…. splurging. Makeup and books, what a combo right?! I finished To Serve My Country a few days ago and now I’m reading Loose Girl. I may do a review on here for it, or just go to my book blog here and look out for a review (I did one but I’m gonna re-do it because I wasn’t really happy with it. I’m horrible at reviewing things, but practice makes perfect right?)!

I spent the majority of the week taking care of Martin cause he was sick with the flu. He was sick for about 6 days, which is odd since he’s never sick. And if he is, at most, its for only one day. So the majority of the week when we weren’t at school was spent making and eating Chicken Noodle Soup, fleece blankets, DayQuils and lots of movies. It’s hard to take care of him since we don’t live together and he has to go home at the end of the night .

I was craving this one night so I made it. It’s my childhood favorite snack. It’s just bananas, brown sugar and lemon. I use to put Sprite instead of lemons when I was younger, I don’t know when I started putting lemon… but I think it taste better this way. Yum! I have really weird favorite snacks don’t I? Lettuce & Mayo, this and I make “turkey rolls”. Which is basically turkey with mayo on it and lettuce and I roll it up. Oh and cheese! I hate waiting for food to be made lol.

We got to watch Alice in Wonderland 3D on Sunday! I love how Martin is always so willing to watch movies with me that he knows I’m obsessed with. He really wanted to watch Alice cause he knows how much I love Alice (kinda like how he really wanted to watch Time Travelers Wife cause I was reading the book at the time. Or how he really wanted to watch The Lightning Thief cause he knows I love Mythology and I bought that book but lost it before I could start reading it… we still have to watch that movie too). I loved the movie! I loved how Cheshire and Hatter had much more larger parts in this movie. I love the action. I love the story line. It was amazing! I really want to see it again!

I don’t see how people don’t like this movie. The only thing I can think of is that they’re stuck on the Disney version. Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland is based on the second book of the Alice series: Through The Looking Glass. And on top of that, Disney does not own Alice in Wonderland. Alice in Wonderland was written by someone else. I don’t think a lot of people know that. A lot of the Disney cartoons are actually not owned by Disney. Trust me, I was heartbroken to find this out myself a few years ago!

Meet my Robo Dwarf Hamster… Boq (yes as in, from the Wicked book/musical). Get it? Munchkin? Dwarf hamster? Haha! He’s very sketchy and he’s not use to us touching him just yet even though I got him in November when Martin was away at Basic Training. My mom surprised me with him . I love his furry little hands!

And according to this picture, he needs his nails cut. Oh my lol.

So I found out yesterday that one of the layouts I had for my blog prevented tags from being attached to entries. Which sucks because I have a bunch of tags that aren’t attached to any entries and a bunch of entries with no tags! So far, up to August has no tags. I’m scared to see how far it goes! So now I have to go fix that… ack!

The week itself wasn’t stressful, just the things I was worrying about through out the week. We have two very important (hopefully) life changing appointments this week and I’m very very excited, but nervous too…

This is the second Ladybug I’ve seen this year! I was leaving Panera Bread and spotted this guy on the floor. I had to take a picture. Ladybugs out, you know what that means… Spring is near!! Finally . Saw another one with its wings out walking around a few steps later. Ooh, wanna know a secret? Ladybug larva’s (and finding Ladybug egg’s on leaves/flowers) were one of my most favorite things to do when I was a kid! But I don’t like Ladybugs crawling on me, actually, I don’t like touching bugs at all.

It was a sunny day for the first time in a lonnnng while so husband wanted to do what he loves doing. He wanted to walk. So we walked around the Panera Bread plaza and went into World Market. World Market is one of my favorite stores because when holidays come around, its the one store that goes all out. I’m sad the one in my town closed down last year . I was surprised to see they already set up for Easter! I must have squealed and dropped my husband’s hand to go run around in circles around the Easter section. Oh how does he deal with me haha! I love Easter, it has the most yummiest candies and the the most prettiest colors!

I’ve had my eyes on this since Sept! I’ve debated on if I should collect Pez dispensers but that might turn into a full blow obsession. No! Gotta stop it before it starts!

I had my heart set on going to Todai for dinner after kickboxing class the other day and husband did his I’m-agreeing-but-I’m-really-kidding crap and I fell for it. Don’t mess with me after kickboxing, I end up starving after that class! So I went to the next best place… Manchu Wok! I use to come here all the time as a kid with my brother, I feel bad I’ve neglected it for a few years. It’s still as delicious as I remember. And! They started serving Deep Fried Cheesecake, had to try that!

He likes to photo bomb me when I take pictures of food knowing I’m going to blog about it later. So there, happy husband? Grrrr. But this is the Deep Fried Cheesecake. It was pretty good. It wasn’t oily sickening deep fried. It kinda tasted like… custard in a flaky crust. It was good! And it was less than $2!

After job hunting with the husband the other day, we decided to make some cookies (plus it started raining). My mom made these chocolate chip cookies last spring that had the swirl chocolate chips in it and I fell in love. I’ve been waiting for them to come back and I spotted these at Safeway so I had to make some! We ended up burning them (but its okay, I kinda like extra extra crispy cookies).

Husband was getting mad cause every time he turned around a square was missing! Haha. Then he started trying to scare me with the worms in your stomach story. Cookies, cookie dough, whats the difference! They’re both delicious! Besides, we didnt have room on our pan to fit 24 cookies anyway so if you ask me, I think I helped the cause !

I was cleaning out my drawers looking for my social security card (which I can not find! OMG! I need that to change my last name!!!) and I found this! I have both of the high school ID’s of his when he was at his regular high school (before he requested to go to the continuation high school we met at) and I can not believe how skinny he was when I met him! I kinda miss it! His skinny-ness and his spiky hair and his puff jacket he always wore (even in the summer time). Awww, I miss my dope friend boo! This is what my bestest friend looks like! Isn’t he a cutie?!

I bought this last year, once I heard the movie was coming out and I was planning on reading it, but I didn’t because everyone said it was disturbing and creepy. But I ended up reading it at Borders on my previous Wicked day and I was addicted. I sat and read the first four chapters. I’m so lucky that my husband plays video games cause he totally didn’t mind that I was reading for so long, he always encourages me to keep reading until I’m done. But I was getting hungry so I stopped. I went home and started reading my copy, I’m addicted!

I also bought two new books (I should really stop buying new books, all the ones under it is part of my to be read). Dream Factory and Loose Girl. I can’t wait to start reading these two (and all the ones under)!

Oh and before I forget…

HAPPY VALENTiNES DAY!

So last Tuesday, we went into Sprint looking at phone’s. I had a question actually, I dont remember exactly why we were there… but anyway, we ended up switching providers! So yes, I finally got my Palm Pixi! I am in love with it. Seriously, I’m always on my phone now. I totally forgot I still have my T-Mobile Sidekick lol! So yes, Tuesday was a good day . Husband also switched with me, he got the HTC Hero. I’m jealous over how many more apps the Hero has, but I hate the way the phone looks. I’m not a fan of bulky PDA’s with huge screen and touchscreen keyboards. Oh, I also got Panera Bread for dinner. I destroyed that dinner quicker than I usually do lol!

Wednesday we went to see Wicked! My 4th time and husband’s 3rd. I finally got to see Teal Wicks as Elphaba and Natalie as Glinda and I must say, I loved Natalie as Glinda! I’m sad she left the SF production last Sunday. She was amazing. I loved the mocking Teal did in “What Is This Feeling”. I’m also sad that Eddy and Patty left on Sunday as well. My favorite Boq and Madame Morrible!

Rushed down to stage door, you can read about my Wicked day here actually lol. But yes, it was a very good day. Even though I skipped eating cause we were running late and I had the biggest headache after the show.

Got new moleskine’s. These ones have blank pages, husband wanted a drawing book and I had my eye on this one instead of the one with lined pages that I got last month, but I figured to go with lined pages since I’ll probably write more than draw. So I grabbed these for husband (and I, shhh). Dont you hate when you’re so excited to have something that you kinda just sit there all excited and you have no idea what to do next? Yeah, that’s how I feel about my moleskines lol. I’m scared I’ll ruin them somehow! Oh and those are my favorite happy snowmen sheets! I *heart* them. The best part of Winter is busting out these sheets!

Chicken Parm from Olive Garden is one of my favorite dishes (I actually have a lot of favorite dishes but I pick this one the most). I tried it with fettuccine noodles this time, just to see what the big deal was. Annnnd, I hated it. Really, it wasnt that great. Never again!

I declared Sunday to be my Olive Garden day. I’m obsessed with Olive Garden and I dont get to eat there often cause obviously, its not cheap! So I decided to treat myself every week to Olive Garden! Its been awhile since we’ve been to the movies and I know husband wanted to see Avatar (but no way am I sitting at a movie for 3hrs) and he wanted to see Time Travelers Wife (I hate sad movies) so I figured we’ll go see a movie on Sunday too, compromise!

So we watched Dear John. Honestly, I didnt want to. Dear John is one of my absolute favorite books by Nicolas Sparks, I read it years ago and fell in love with it. I know the story gets incredibly sad, and I was hoping they would graze over the sad part since it wasnt that big of a deal but… I was wrong. I normally dont cry at movies but the part that made me the saddest in the book actually happened in the movie and I was bawling my eyes out. Husband didnt poke fun at me this time though. Thank goodness. The story hit home a little more this time than it did when I read the book since I know what it’s like to ask everyday if you got a letter since husband was in Basic Training not too long ago, its like hey, I remember those days. And I guess re-visiting the story, the part that made me the saddest was a much bigger part of the story than I saw the first time.

I thought the guy who played Mr. Tyler did an amazing job with the character. And I thought Channing did an absolute amazing job as John. I loved the movie, not more than the book… but… okay this is turning into a review which I had planned to blog about. Good job Zel lol!

I didnt feel like being home the other day so we drove around in circles around town, not knowing what to do after dropping Marissa off at her boyfriend’s house which was in the middle of nowhere! And we ended up at the park, playing with our new phones. And then it started raining so I decided to just go home. And as soon as I got there, I wanted to leave again. I’ve been grumpy lately, mostly because I’ve been craving an extreme dose of peace and quiet and I barely get any, so yeah. I’m sure that’s enough to make anyone grumpy. Anyway, that was kinda (by kinda I mean really) a bad day for me, I got hit with intense anxiety that night, it was almost painful. Made me miss my furball who passed almost two years ago.

Wanna know a secret? I take only gummie multivitamin’s. I was taking children’s Finding Nemo ones but husband didnt like that it didnt give you everything you needed, so I started taking these, the adult version. Thank goodness they come in sour. I’m going to be reviewing these on my food blog here soon. I’m trying to get my hands on the brand new Jolly Rancher Sour ones! MmM. My mouth’s watering just thinking about how delicious they would be!

I went to talk to someone at the University of Phoenix yesterday, I’m thinking of attending. The school and the program and the options sound wonderful. Exactly what I’m looking for, its just picking my major that I’m going to have a hard time with. The great part is, husband is thinking about attending with me as well! I’m pretty excited, there have been complications in the past that have prevented him from attending school with me, so I’m pretty excited about this !
