A few changes…!

I’m sure you’ve probably noticed a few changes (well, I’m hoping you did anyway)!

I’m trying to buckle down and figure this WordPress thing out. I’ve had this blog since April of 09′ and I never really bothered to mess with the plug-ins and all that sort of stuff unless it was something that I needed to do, like NAO. But I’m curious to know what plug-ins there are and how they can help make my blog better.

My categories aren’t working correctly, I know, and I’m trying to figure out how to fix that. Also, I’m thinking of changing them. It’s probably going to take me FOREVER to go through all of my posts and re-categorize them but I want to change this blog up a bit. I also took out Google Friend Connect since word is out that Google is getting rid of it for non blogspot blogs in March of 2012. So in its place is my link to follow me on Bloglovin (I’m obsessed with that site lately) and to follow me on Facebook and of course you could RSS too.

With that said, I’m thinking of opening up log in, where you guys register to my blog to see private posts. I’m hitting a point where I want to write personal things here, but I want to keep certain personal things out of the public. If that makes sense.

I’ve also started a channel with this blog, and I’m doing vlogmas so that’s exciting. I’ll be editing the first video for that tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll have more to say tomorrow. Ooh I do have something to say, but not too much. Darn. But I’m hoping to turn that into an everyday babble vlog channel. So yay! Pretty excited. I did my first video on my new review channel. So that’s exciting, sort of.

In totally unrelated news… I can’t wait to be back in Florida and I’ve been thinking about my re-wedding. When M and I got married, the plan was to get re-married after everything with the military had settled down. But since that plan didn’t work out, it’s been a little blah lately. Well that and my total going away get together fail from last year. A part of me sort of doesn’t want to bother with another wedding if no one’s going to show up like my last one. But I figure, we have some pretty amazing friends who we know will definitely be there, no matter where it is so maybe a re-wedding wouldn’t be so hopeless. I want a real wedding, somewhere where I have full control over the decorations and with what goes on. And I want to be happy and surrounded by amazing people. So maybe I’ll start sort of planning that soon (:

Father’s Day!

Happy Father’s Day to my daddy!!

Holidays arent too special around here. It was a normal day. Mom’s at work, dad went to church, Carlo goes to work. Dad came home with lots of yummie Chinese food though, so I’ve been eating all day lol. He got me my favorite, Won Ton Soup! Yummm!

I didnt get anything done today. I took a some pics for my NYX palette haul. Tried out some looks, played around with my MAC eyeshadow’s. I dont see why everyone loves Ricepaper and Nylon so much. I did swatches of MAC Nylon and FLIRT! Honey Lemonade and guess what, they were exactly the same! That was something weird to accidently come across!

Had a bunch of stuff to do, didnt do any of them… I need to start making a list of things I need to do, I slack off when I dont.

Got some more info on the Basic Training/Tech School stuff. I probably wont be moving out there for a month, cause it would hardly seem worth it if hes not gonna have that much free time… its just gonna suck being away from him for five months. I will however, visit at least once a month. Get over my fear of flying alone, I guess. How I’ll do that… I have no clue since he’s gonna be basically half way across the country. I dont know how well I’ll do with landing by myself. UGH.

Damn you fears. Seriously. Being afraid of pretty much everything really effen sucks. Like you would not believe the shit that goes on in my head sometimes!

Whateverr… after Tech School it shouldnt be too bad after that. Hopefully he’ll get to come home for Christmas. I’m sure he will, that’d be messed up if he didnt.

I need to get this domain up and running. I mean it IS up and running… but I mean… you know, the layout pulled together. I need to get my beauty page up too, but that’s gonna take a lot more… learning. I need to get on the “new entries” I’ve been planning on writing.

I just really suck at reviewing things. Really.

My daddy liked his ipod =). I’m glad he did. Holidays are kinda depressing around here…

Yay for a productive day!

I got everything I needed to get done today!

Mail Rai’s package

So yay for getting everything done! And in such a short amount of time too!

After getting the last thing done, me and Martin were sitting in the Kinkos parking lot for about 15-30 minutes just because we didnt know what else to do and I wanted Olive Garden but we didnt have any money. So we were kinda just sitting there falling asleep/talking/listening to the radio.

Well out of nowhere, my dad pulls up to the parking lot lol! And we both scream out the window “dad!” and he comes over and I ask for money for OG lol! So we go and have dinner, yay!

I wanted to have dinner cause I wanted more time to talk about some stuff, but we were both really tired and ended up just talking about random stuff and cracking jokes.

I came home and put my dad’s gift together and wrote him a letter. And started laundry, played with false lashes (and failed) and put everything I wanted to put in the bin, in the bin (and it fit, yipee!). Gawh, I hate how cluttered my room looks! I have freakin makeup everywhere!!

I was able to record videos yesterday. I had to do the MARK haul like 3 times cause I kept eating up ALL the memory card space. UGH. It was a huge haul too. Whatever, after these 2 (the ELF and MARK) I’m going to try to not post any haul videos unless they’re for a special reason. No one wants to see a whole channel of nothing but haul videos! So I’m gonna try to change it up a bit. The only problem is, I suck at reviewing things. But I’m practicing. I’m in a few makeup reviewing communities, so yeah.

I also changed the layout to this blog yesterday! I like how it says “the daily grind” at the top! This layout is suuper cute. I’m gonna edit it around later, I’ve got a lot of work to do as far as the domain goes.

I had a weird dream about my ex boyfriend last night. He was being nice to me and when I thought he was talking shit, he grabbed my arm screaming “what makes you think I dont care about you”. Yeah, that was a total dream. I’m happy to say though, I havent thought of him in years and I dont wonder how he’s doing. I honestly dont care. It was just weird how I had a dream about him though.

Martin’s been buggin me about checkin out Pandora Radio. So I made a station with Linkin Park and they were playin my jams. Not just LP, but Switchfoot, Nickleback, ect. It was hot! So I made another station with Donell Jones and I’m just slowinnnn it down up in here. So fuckin relaxing!! I love Donell Jones! He got that kinda voice you just take a candle lit bubble bath to, ya dig?

Okay okay, this site is the shit. I love the sound quality on it. Its CD quality, they play songs within the genre of the singer/song you pick. Its pretty spiffy.

Period’s make me sleepy, Its only 1AM and I’m ready to knock out!

I was on Twitter watchin Bow Wow & Soulja Boy on blogtv… watchin Tila’s grind video hahaha. It was hella funny, nice to know celeb’s are people just like us too. Esp Bow Wow, I’ve been a fan of his since Bounce With Me. Haha!

So I went shopping with the bestie yesterday. Gooooooooodness! Did some damage at Target, not as much as I usually do, so I was happy about that. But then she took me to CCO. Oh goodness, I fell in love. I didnt know the CCO closer to my house (AHHH THEY PLAYIN NE-YO!) was bigger than the one away from my house!! And they had SO MUCH MORE selection! I went nuts! I was all over the place. I was so so so happy to find MAC Claire de Lune eyeshadow!! Hello, Twilight anyone? LOL. They also had some FLIRT! And some Grass Roots (huge Kohls fan too). So that was a nice surprise.

I had fun with the bestie. She’s leavin for the P.I. I’m gonna miss her!! Who am I gonna talk to for the next three weeks?!

So much shit to do today… busy week too. Ahh! Sa’ll good though. Gonna finally cop me a Dyno shirt tomorrow. Cause its about time!

Still waitin on my MARK rep kit and my MARK haul, hopefully it’ll get here tomorrow. I’m super excited for it. Gotta make a few more videos (even though I havent even uploaded the ones I already have). My blog and youtube arent synced, which gets confusing after awhile… bah!

Still gotta make the layout for the makeup site. Yeah, about that… and still gotta code the layout for the other site… yeah… about that too… haha I’m slackin, I know! But I aint been home and I had a phatty headache yesterday. So…. blaaah!

I’ll jump on it though!

I just called AE to see if I could pay my credit card at the store and the operator was like “no there isnt any additional payment method Ms. Aba… Hazel” I giggled. She was obviously tired, she kept correcting herself. I hope I made her night a little better.

I woke up with a headache.

Not a cool way to wake up. I had a small headache last night and instead of taking medicine before going to sleep, I thought I could just… sleep it off. Yeah, like that ever works. So of course, I was tossing an turning all night because of my dang headache and woke up with the same headache. Yeah, I know… you’d think after dealing with headaches for years I’d know better, but no. I dont. Lame.

I had a bunch of stuff I was going to do today, mainly clean my room. But I’m just not in the mood to get up, sit down, get up, sit down, bend over… especially with a headache. Maybe its a sign I need to take a day off from moving around so much… maybe. But I had plans!! Grr.

I recently joined a blogging community called “20somethings”. Its pretty cool. I didnt know Ning was able to do all that!

I’m still trying to figure out how to promote my store, with all these networking sites you’d think it would be cake… but no one ever listens to you when it actually comes to promoting or anything… which kinda sucks. Whats the use of networking sites without the networking?! Came up with some good idea’s for promoting the store though. Also came up with some good idea’s for this blog and for my sites. Just gotta get those projects up and running! I’ve been so out of touch with html (and what the heck is xhtml?!) that this is gonna take awhile *sigh*.

I’m still trying to get use to wordpress, there’s so much you’re able to do, but I dont even know where to start! Its exciting and frustrating all at the same time. I love that!! Haha.

Life changing meeting on Friday. I’m super excited! I hope everything works out. Unfortunately getting married isnt something I’m gonna be able to avoid for the next few years… darn. Its all good though lol!

I hate how June is one of my most busy months!!

I tried Sims3 today, not sure if I like it *gaaaaaaasp*.
