SPiNNiNG: All Falls Down by Kayne West

Facebook is a bit redic. I mean, I’ve always known this, but for some reason I just can’t stay away. I’ve had my account active since 2005, before it was cool, back when Facebook was strictly a college social networking site which required a college email to even sign up. And back then I was hooked because of games like Bubble Town and playing Paper Rock Scissor with one of my co-workers back then.

Then it evolved, into what it is now, straight up ridic.

Honestly the only reason I’m on it is to keep up with my fam and my friends from Disney.

Never ending to-do list…

Since being home I’ll admit, I’ve been slacking.

I did manage to post a book review yesterday and participate in the weekly Wednesday meme today though so it’s a start. A slow start, but better than nothing. September’s coming up so I have to read Harry Potter in honor of banned book month and figure out what other books I’ll be reading for the month of September. Then October rolls on by and I gotta figure my Halloween book challenge. Fun stuff.

→ Bought supplies to make mini witch hats yesterday. Figured out what tully was, yay! Didn’t get any stuffing but I think the material for the cone part of the hat should sit just fine. Excited to start these!

→ Had a dream about the same former co-worker two nights in a row. The hellllllllllll!

→ Moved my beauty/review blog over to WordPress. I’m hoping the new place will encourage me to blog the way I want without holding the old weight of my previous blog. It’s so hard to start a blog and steer it into another direction once it’s already been established.

→ Did a bunch of laundry since my mom wants all my luggage unpacked (don’t judge me) since we’re having guests over in a few days. I hate unpacking just as much as I hate packing. And this packing is worse, it’s not like you know… luggage from a vacation. No. This is like, luggage from moving. Completely different and twice the headache.

→ Still have to fill out FASFA and I always hate doing that.

→ I was hoping to try and figure out WordPress some time this year (since I say that every year). But I’m scared me and WordPress will never see eye to eye. I self taught myself HTML when it was the hardest thing ever in the 90′s but I never got around to teaching myself CSS because… well… it looks scary. I kind of started getting the hang of it a few years ago while messing with my LiveJournal theme and then I just stopped and re-forgot everything. I know, smooth right? I have two books, a magazine and google. But yet I still run the other way. I want to learn how to make my own cool themes… I just… :( you know?

→ My newest obsession is Bath & Body Works candles. I guess it’s not a new obsession but lately I’ve been buying a lot of their mini candles (which burn FOREVER. OMG. Best 3 for $5 I’ve EVER spent) and their body washes. The Paris Amour is the one I’m using now. Smells amazing. Not better than Cherry Vanilla but still pretty amazing.

And lastly, this finally came in the mail today!

My books for review from Amazon Vine! I waited allllllll week for these! They usually ship them faster… speaking of books for review, I have a few from NetGalley I need to get started on before they archive them on me and I’m unable to post a review. A warning would be nice!

I’m so excited to be able to have time to read and review things again :).

First day of school!

Monday was the first day of school at University of Phoenix!

Martin needed a notebook and I needed a bottle of water since I was still coughing like crazy and I didn’t want to deal with uncontrollable coughs in class. So we went to get him a notebook and I grabbed a bottle of Fiji water, cough drops and Red Vines then headed to class. We weren’t late at all (thank goodness). The class was small, we had a total of 9 people in our class.

Our instructor seems really nice. She’s not very serious so it made the class enjoyable. We got a lot of handouts, a lot of activities to start us talking, a few discussions, and we made our “working teams”. Thankfully, Martin and I weren’t the only married couple in the class, so that was nice to know! I felt a little left out from the people who had laptops and were able to turn in that day’s assignment before even leaving the room. My laptop unfortunately has to be plugged in cause the battery is faulty.

We had a 20-25 minute “dinner” break. And they have this cute little cafe downstairs. The food took forever to get ready and all we ordered was a cup of soup and a bagel! So we were a bit late coming back but we were able to finish our dinner in class, so that was nice! Since our class was so small, we were broken up to 3 to a group. The married couples obviously had to stay together.

So far, I really enjoyed the first day of class, the four hours flew right by! I had so much fun that it didn’t really feel like we were in class. But we did cover a lot. The first day left me excited for the next class and excited to start at this new school. It’s nice feeling like you made the right choice in choosing a school that you’re new to.

So, yeah, here’s to our new journey through a new college together! I’m excited :).

Happy November!

Yay! The beginning of a new month! This is the time my parents start setting up for Christmas and start playing Christmas songs and everything’s crisp, cold (hopefully) and joyful! This month also means…

  • New free Aerie gift
  • New Wizard of Oz comic book release
  • Wicked!
  • New Moon
  • One more month closer to see my boo!

Yes, I plan on seeing Wicked for a third time this month! I’m pretty excited. Hopefully this time we get balcony seats. Floor seats were lovely when Defying Gravity came on, but horrible when it came to seeing what was going on in the middle of the stage.

Basic Training is almost over! I’m so excited! And nervous at the same time… I’m probably going to be nervous and shy and self conscious when I see him. Blah! Then he’ll be home for Christmas (hopefully) and our wedding isnt too far away from that.

The wedding planning has been going… better. I should had said “getting” but whatever. I ordered my dress! It’s wonderful. Not my first choice (my first choice didnt come in blue, at all… boo) but it’s just as lovely. I got a shrug to go with it because I’m insecure about my shoulders and I also ordered my shoes. I hope Martin likes my dress! I’m sure he’ll be surprised since its not the dress we decided on when he was here. We also got the table decor’s, we had changed it since Marissa came up with something better. So we’re going to test that out and see how it goes. Also, we’re going to have to test out painting some flowers! Pretty excited about that.

Right now I’m focused on the favors, been looking up some images for bouquet idea’s. We still have to order the customized ribbon and the save-the-dates as well as the invitations. And I need to get the save-the-dates out like… now. But its hard if I dont know if Martin’s Christmas break is solid, so hopefully he calls soon to let me know.

The planning is a lot less stressful now that I have my dress. Whew, thank goodness!

Super excited!!

SPiNNiNG: No Love by Kevon Edmonds

Yesterday wasnt as busy of a day as I thought it would be lol. We went to the mall and paid a bill. Walked around a bit. I didnt get my MAC Violet pigment cause I spent too much money on MAC the day before *mocks Martin*. Its okay, I’ll just stock up on samples! Holler!

We headed to the USAF recruiting office after going to mall & it went really well. Some studying and working out to be done but well on the way! I’m so excited!! I was drooling at the benefits when the recruiter was going over them! OMGG. So many amazing benefits. I found out the USAF also has a reserved program, which is pretty cool. After the appointment went to get some gummies from the Asian market for a swap I’m doing (okay and because I wanted some too)! Then headed to Target and got tampons. And just tampons. I hate walking out of Target with just one thing LOL!

Spent the night looking up some exciting stuff. I’m so so so  excited! I called my bestie and she was like “HA! You ARE excited! I knew it!” whateverrrrrrr. Haha I <3 her.

The next five months are gonna be busy!!! AHHHHHHHH I’m so excited!!! =D

I also got my MARK rep stuff in yesterday!! Suuuuper excited!! YAY!

Today I tried out the MARK Get A Tint tinted moisturizing lotion and it was pretty good. Besides the first feeling of putting it on your face fades its pretty lightweight and blends really good. I also did a red/blue look with MAC eyeshadows Cranberry and one of the dark blue’s I have (the name is totally not coming to me right now) and it was beautiful! I also highlighted my eyebrows with FLIRT Honey Lemonade (I’m loving that e/s just like I knew I would!) and highlighted with MAC Claire de Lune. Pretty! I liked it! I also wore MARK Juice Gem in Mango Tango. I’m loving the MARK Juice Gem lipgloss!

ANYWAY lol.

I was suppose to go to Pista Sa Nayon today but skipped it. Blah! Went to get some California Pizza Kitchen instead and some stuff from Lush. I went to Sephora and looked at the Stila Smudge Pots, but honestly… I think I’m totally over Sephora. I didnt really find anything I was just aching to get. I’m pretty proud of myself! Had a nice giggly loving day with Martin <3. We also went to Ranch 99 to get some $2 Chow Mien (so good) but they changed the type of noodles today! So we didnt. Just did some walking and looking around. Then went to Target again and got a hot dog + soda combo. Oh we also tried the new Godiva chocolate for summer Lemon Drop. I like it! Its tarty. A lot of Godiva chocolates arent really tarty. I also got a free chocolate (they changed it to once a month now!) so of course I got Strawberry Cheesecake!

Tomorrow’s a chill day. Gonna hopefully do some cleaning and do some more crazy planning. I dont know how I’m gonna work this out, but I’m super super excited!! Gotta edit some videos, take some haul pictures and write up a huge haul update. UGHH.

I need to stop sleeping/waking up late! Seriously, this is so shitty booboo!
