There was an event a week or two ago at Tapioca Express (which a friend of mine owns). My super artistic friend Dyno was invited to paint a mural on the wall along with some other artists so of course, I stopped by to show some support!
The unfinished mural on the wall! I wish I had stayed to snap a picture of the finished project, it’s really awesome. Maybe next time I stop by Tap, I’ll snap a picture.
One of my bestest friends who works there, Joey!
My friend who owns the place, he totally doesn’t know I took this picture. Well, I guess now he does. Sorry about that Ray… well no, not really lol :).
One of my childhood best friends! We’ve grown apart in the last 10 or so years, but it’s always a pleasure to see her! We went on a quick Target run and it was nice hanging out again. You can’t see it, but we’re both sporting a Dyno shirt. I actually bought another one while I was there.
And why the hell is my hair blonde?! It’s red now! Ugh, damn you lighting!
One of the coolest things is all the weird things my friends come up with for new drinks and of course, getting to taste it all. Joey made a Chips Ahoy smoothie to be honest, it was good.
It was really really nice seeing my friends again, it’s been a really long time and I’ve been so busy with school and dealing with the married life that I barely get time to see or talk to my friends any more…
Hubby and I had to leave early because he was going to catch the Mosley and Mayweather fight at his friends house with his boys.
I ended up going, even though I had a grudge against the guy who’s house it was at… I decided to let it go. It’s been a few years since we had that fight and it was nice to see Adam again and not hate him. He’s a cool guy, just really hard to deal with sometimes (I mean that in a good way, if that makes sense)! And again, it was really really nice seeing the guys again. It’s been years since I’ve seen them… I guess that’s on me, I’ve been avoiding them. But it reminded me how much I miss them, even if they don’t really care for me being around. They’re all hilarious! And I missed long tight hugs from Mondo and the dumb things Ian says. And talking to Angela about Twilight! The downside to hanging out with the crew? They never go home. Seriously. Hang outs with them don’t end til 8AM, I’m being literal. These people don’t sleep! Which is great cause I don’t either, except I can’t be home that late lol.
Oh, the fight itself? Was intense. I see why people like boxing so much lol. I wish I had taken pictures of them playing beer pong and hanging out. Wasn’t really thinking about it, I guess lol.
