Obsessed.

I’m obsessed with books. And right now, in this very minute, I’m wishing all that money I had spent on makeup went to books instead. Okay maybe not all, maybe half.

I made an order on Amazon last night, I couldn’t resist! And I was tired of waiting for my Wizard of Oz comic book to be listed. They ship separate anyway! I was mostly excited because I got the second Wicked Lovely book (Ink Exchange) for $3.90! It was on sale, whoohoo! I’m so excited to read it, even if Ash and Seth aren’t the main characters in this one, they will be in the next book. But I won’t jump books because of that. I also got “Eyes Like Stars” which I’m also excited about and of course “Bound To Please“. Even though Ash and Joy aren’t main characters in this one either.

I’m surfing Amazon adding erotica and faerie books to my wish list. I know, two totally different genre’s right? My genre’s switch all the time. Sometimes it’s fantasy, sometimes its memoirs, sometimes its self help… I like to throw in a memoir every few books, it keeps me refreshed. If that makes sense.

I’m reading Sweep: Seeker just to finish the story between Hunter and Morgan. Not that I’m tired of them, but because in the next one, Origins the story changes. And it sounds pretty exciting. I’m excited that Seeker is from Hunter’s point of view. I mean, duh why wouldn’t it be… it is called seeker right?

I’m also going to start reading The Clearing this week, as much as I love time travel stories, they kinda… creep me out. But this one sounds incredibly interesting! Trying to build my Amazon review (and blog) count… I might re-read some books for review. I probably should!

I’m having a case of the Monday’s today. I don’t feel like doing homework or going to school today… I just wanna relax. I’ve never had “a case of the Monday’s” before, but man, this feeling sucks!

Review: Sweep – Dark Magick

I know I didnt review the previous 3 books, I havent exactly decided if I’m going to review all 15 books or if I’m going to review the series as a whole.

This book goes more into Hunter and Sky. It revels more about Cal and Selene as well. Morgan has a hard time through out the book as far as figuring out who she is, what she is and who she believes. You cant help but scream at the book because she does make some stupid choices when the answer is right there, in front of her. She’s obviously too caught up in Cal that she doesnt chose to see them.

She finally confronts Bree and it doesnt turn out for the better, sadly. There isnt much going on with the coven, they have one circle the entire book and that’s about it. I found it funny how this book was timed around Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving just passed. I think I started reading these books around the right time lol.

The ending will leave you angry, anxious, nervous and eager to read the next book! Of all the books in the series so far, this has got to be my favorite one.

You dont know what’s happening with Cal or Selene or Hunter… you dont know who’s lying and who’s telling the truth and you dont know what Morgan will do next. Or who she’ll believe or who she’ll listen to!

I have to admit, Selene freaked me out in this book. She was way too pushy and sketchy. Cal was acting a bit sketchy in this one as well, half way through the book you couldnt help but just turn Team Hunter from how odd they were acting.

Maybe I wont review the books, maybe I’ll just write down how I feel about them. It seems much easier and I dont have to spoil anything lol.

Less than 15 days away…

The wedding is less than 15 days away. I’m extremely nervous. I swear its the guys who are suppose to get cold feet, not the girls! This is insane.

I have to pick up my dress this week (ahh, finally!) and Martin has to pick up his wedding band, mine isnt done yet :( I hope it gets done soon! Gotta finish up the favors, mail in the payment for the reception, order the cake and I think that might be it. Am I really all done?!

The cold is making me lazy, I’ve been getting out of bed passed noon! I hate that, I feel like I just slept away half my day. Goodness. I’ve been trying to squeeze in as much time as I can reading Sweep, I’m on the 6th book: Awakening. I love this series, I’m sad I’m almost half way done with it. I read the back of the last book and now I’m itching to get through the rest of the books, but not at the same time. Darn.

I need to do a little more Christmas shopping, though I have no idea what I’m looking for. At least its just for my parents and I also have to pick up a gift for Mae too!

I’m thinking of baking some Christmas cupcakes today! But we’ll see how that goes. I got some Red Velvet Cookies from Lucky’s yesterday. I wonder how those will be. I wish I had more time to get into the holiday spirit this year, poop! I totally will next year though! I have so much to do to prep for the new year. New Years is probably one of my top favorite holidays even though its not a really epic celebration. But new beginnings is something that Aries are attracted to :)

My mom added me on Facebook, how odd lol.

Gonna go read some more of Sweep before I go pick up Martin :)

Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Unfortunately Martin isnt home yet, he did call me this morning to say Happy Thanksgiving and that he’s thankful for me. We spent a huge chunk of the phone call talking about Religion, which was… weird. Weird because his views on religion are opposite from when he enlisted. He told me to be good and he was thankful for me again before we hung up and I just broke down. No idea why, he sounded concerned and assured me he’d be home soon. Then he tried to get me to sing “For Good” to cheer me up :)

I was suppose to clean my room today but my closet just looks so… hopeless. Seriously. There’s random crap stacked up on random crap in there, I dont know how I’m ever going to see my closet floor. It wasnt that bad last year, I somehow made it work… I’m sure if I tried hard enough I could make it work this year… lets hope, yeah?

I finished Sweep: Blood Witch. I’m having mixed feelings about Cal and Hunter especially after I read that dang spoiler yesterday on accident. And the Runes that Sky & Hunter put on Morgan’s house didnt seem to be anything of harm, the girl is just not listening. Total Bella/Edward-ish (besides that this book came out wayyy before Twilight). I’m excited to read the fourth book. I’m starting to run out of books lol. The only thing I keep thinking is “where am I going to store all 15 books?!” seriously.

Took advantage of some of the Thanksgiving only sales today. Oh shopping online! I didnt do that much damage though, I was on the search for a hoodie like my Aero one but they dont have that type anymore. Darn.

THiNGS i’M THANKFUL FOR:

My amazing fiance who’s never given up on me no matter how off the wall, extreme, psycho or stubborn I get. For always being there to support me on my next crazy idea or my newest obsession. For jumping up and down with me when I’m excited. For always trying to understand me even when its hard to. And for loving me as unconditional as he does.
My parents for being so supportive since Martin left. For understanding how much this wedding means to me. For offering their help, constantly. For caring even though sometimes they have a weird way of showing it.
My wonderful friends who are always there no matter what time of day/night it is to listen to me babble until I feel better. For my bro for always being there, srsly dont know where I’d be without him!

Lazy weekend.

I spent all day doing pretty much nothing since I had my breakdown. I kinda just laid around in bed blasting the Wicked soundtrack, I was suppose to start reading the second book of Sweep but I’m afraid if I start reading the second book, I’ll end up finishing the next 3 that I bought. But then I dont want to go a long time without reading it cause then I’ll forget what happened in the last book! I know, what a dilemma right?!

Anyway, about an hour or two before I was suppose to go to sleep, I find a break down of CSS which looks helpful and promising. I mean, html is html you can assume what goes here easily but it was nice to see what abbreviation meant and why there were there! I need to refresh my memory of basic html as well, this stuff use to be a second language to me now its just… foreign. Then someone suggested to YouTube it and I actually tried that and hello new world! Oh YouTube, the answer to all of life’s problems! Swear it is. And I found site collective after site collective and before I knew it, 12AM turned to 330AM whoops.

I’ve always liked to challenge myself. I grew up with people always telling me I couldnt do something. And I’m glad it was like that, I would had never discovered my love for graphic and web design. I need to learn CSS (considering I’m not working with WordPress) because my newest and probably biggest project requires me to use CSS, and I’ve been avoiding it for about a year now… but I really want to get this project up and I think it would be great if I did so I’m going to just deal with it. I’m pretty much the type of person who likes to start projects they know absolutely nothing about! Not only that, but I get excited about this haha.

I was suppose to go to the bank today but considering I went to sleep at 430AM I didnt wake up in time to go since its Saturday and they close early. Darn. But I do have to pick up my invitations (yay they’re done early!) and I feel like splurging at Target. Or at least, mentally splurging lol. Darn this wedding making me broke! I need to print out the wedding paper work too and have it done by Monday. Next week is going to be the semi start of my crazy busy til the end of the year thing.

Oh how I wish I could just pop in Serendipity and relax in bed!
